Greetings to you all - and thank you for your interest in learning why the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is so close to my heart.

 

Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is a testament to Ras Al Khaimah’s core values. It represents our spirit of collaboration, our appreciation of diverse cultures, and our emphasis on innovation and creativity. We are dedicated to building a dynamic, healthy, and supportive community for generations to come and Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is critical to ensuring that we succeed in this endeavor.

 

From its early origins, when the works of 30 artists based in Ras Al Khaimah were exhibited at the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah, to its current expanded form at the historical Al Jazirah Al Hamra, where 100 artists from 50 countries exhibit, Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival has been an integral part of the Emirate’s artistic landscape. Over the years the Festival has played a leading role in efforts to educate and engage our communities in the arts, support the creative economy, and inspire future generations to put paintbrush to canvas.

I delight in the value that this wonderful event brings to our community. I believe that art is an essential component of individual and community wellbeing, so I take particular pride in seeing the Festival flourish year after year. I hope that people from all walks of life, near and far, enjoy the Festival and all that Ras Al Khaimah has to offer.
