We welcome you to Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village to see a wide variety of interpretations around the theme ‘Nature’. Artists share their take on the theme considering their relationship with landscapes, plants, animals, fellow human beings, and our planet. Join us at 9:00 p.m. on February 3rd to celebrate the opening of the 11th edition of RAKFAF.

Pet-Friendly Weekend

Life is more fun when you have your furry travel buddy to enjoy with you. RAKFAF has lined up an exciting array of events for your pets during the weekends. Join our pet-centered activities including an artwork tour with your pups, pet adoption from the Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Center (RAKAWC), dog fashion and talent contest, falcon show, pet training and grooming sessions. Visitors are in for a treat at the one-of-a-kind unique petting zoo and can also get your pets for a health check-up at the vet clinics onsite. If you want to add more paw-mates to your family, then our pet shops are a must visit.

Don’t miss out on the free organic food available for your pets and capture your favorite moments at the free photo booth stationed at RAKFAF.

Family & Community Weekend

The whole family can join in the fun at the festival this weekend. Parents can sign up with their children for a variety of arts and crafts projects that creatively apply the nature theme. From outdoor film screenings to our first-ever Family Photo Scavenger Hunt, this weekend is a perfect chance to spend quality time with your loved ones. No child should miss our inflatable play area, balloon animals, or face painting area too!

Cultural Weekend

This weekend celebrates the UAE's diversity and rich culture, including Ghawa (Arabic coffee) making, khoos, Emirati scents making, camel rides, traditional rope weaving, Tulle bi Telli fabric embroidery, boat art and craft, Al Ayala and Emirati ladie’s dances, and Emirati shawl embroidery.
